What’s the most recent news on impeachment? 

We know–there’s lots of breaking news and it’s confusing! Here’s an update as of 9 pm, September 24th. We’ll keep this page as up-to-date as possible as new news breaks. 

We now know that in addition to the revelations from the Mueller report, Trump also asked the Ukrainian government to investigate Joe Biden’s son—yet another transparent attempt to entice a foreign government to interfere with our elections. Trump himself admitted—ON CAMERA—that the call took place.  This is even more horrifying since the conversation happened as Trump was withholding foreign assistance for Ukraine, making the whole thing look an awful lot like an illegal quid pro quo too. 

All of this confirms what we already know: Trump abused his authority, violated the law, and tried repeatedly to obstruct justice. Donald Trump is a criminal and these activities are impeachable offenses.

On September 24, Speaker Pelosi did what activists have been asking for months: opened a formal House inquiry into impeachment. As of today, the House is planning to go on recess and head back home (i.e. leave Washington) next week.

That’s why now is the time to show up on the phones, at offices, and at town halls and make sure every member of Congress hears our message that they need to go back to Washington and take a vote to impeach Trump. is a joint project of:
